他本名是彼得·基恩·埃爾南德斯，藝名是Bruno Mars，中國聽眾通常暱稱他為「火星哥」因為他的名字Mars有火星的意思。

火星哥是妥妥的85後，是創作型歌手和音樂製作人，憑與B.o.B合作的出道單曲Nothing on You一鳴驚人，此後金曲頻出，今年更是橫掃格萊美。

He grew up in a musical family. Mars』 father and mother were talented performers leading a 1950s-style cover act called the Love Notes. It was in the Love Notes that Mars became a famous Elvis impersonatorson the island Honolulu. When he was four, he already appeared as Little Elvis in the movie 「Honeymoon in Vegas」. Though the Love Notes disbanded later, Mars already learned a great deal of musical skills andtapped into his music potentials.
